To develop a fully composed business plan and business proposal slide deck.
The Ask:
This semester-long project was produced in the fall of 2024, in the course, Entrepreneurship. It involved a collaborative effort with my “business” partner to develop an entire business plan mock-up including the inspiration, mission, product assortment and pricing, all financial components, and a full marketing plan. I took on the responsibilities of completing all of the financial sheets, creating our mood board, name, color palette and logo, researching our target market, and then finally combining all of our work into one business plan. We then summarized our 49 paged business plan through a visual slide deck, where I pitched our company alongside my partner to a panel of industry critics.
The Process
About the Brand
The brand is named RAE + BEAM and is a Richmond based boutique that carries a carefully curated, non-toxic beauty collection made with ethically sourced, clean ingredients. We prioritize clean formulations without compromising price, offering a personalized, eco-conscious beauty experience. The mission of RAE + BEAM is to provide a space where Richmond consumers can find clean and sustainable cosmetic products in a carefully curated, peaceful environment. Our carried products will use clean ingredients and eliminate sulfates, harmful chemicals (to yourself and the environment), toxins, potential carcinogens, parabens, etc.
