ABOUT ME

As a fashion merchandising professional, I've had the privilege of transforming my love for art into a solid foundation of knowledge. I feel privileged to have been given the tools to build a career that centers around creativity. While I deeply value hard work, honesty, and humility, I've learned that kindness is my greatest strength. It’s through leading with kindness that I've found the most success in both life and work. I am passionate about using my knowledge of the fashion industry to lift others up and contributing to the success of any business through buying and curation, graphic design and marketing, or visual merchandising.

I graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University in December 2024 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, concentrating in Fashion Merchandising. Throughout my studies, I developed strong interest in areas such as retail buying, line/product development, and graphic design. My education at VCUArts allowed me to merge my appreciation for beauty with strategic thinking, preparing me to thrive in fast-paced, collaborative, and style-driven environments.

I’m currently working as a stylist at Lex’s of Carytown, a formal and bridal dress boutique in Richmond, Virginia. This role has allowed me to further enhance my skills in collaboration, styling, and buying, all of which are areas I enjoy expanding my knowledge of. Although bridal is one of my passions, I’m also skilled and interested in social media production, graphic design, and product development.

Outside of work, I have a strong appreciation for all things creative. In my free time, I enjoy activities like collaging, enjoying nature, reading, thrift shopping, casual photography, visiting museums, and beach combing! One of my guilty pleasures is scrolling on Pinterest and crafting boards that have a fun and aesthetic theme. I love any activity that makes me feel inspired and creative.
